Members of this band reside in Bryan and College Station, Brazos County, Texas, and several members of the band have been together for 20 years. Brazos Country Grass plays a variety of acoustic music--bluegrass from the tradition of Bill Monroe, Flatt and Scruggs, the Stanley Brothers, etc; Texas swing and country music from the tradition of Bob Wills, Hank Williams, etc; old-time and cajun fiddle tunes; contemporary bluegrass made popular by Bluegrass Etc., Allison Kraus, The Lonesome River Band, etc; all flavored by traditional and contemporary, popular gospel songs. The band features high-energy, hard-driving instrumentals and tight three-part harmony vocal arrangements. Brazos Country Grass is available for concerts, festivals, private parties and other events.
